TIE
For interested English students that are enrolled in one of our English summer camps in Kilkenny, we offer Junior TIE examinations. TIE is a test especially designed for junior learners and the TIE certificate is recognised by the Irish Department of Education and Science (www.tie.ie).
EDUCATION IN IRELAND
Enterprise Ireland manages the Education in Ireland national brand under the authority of the Irish Minister for Education and Skills. Enterprise Ireland is responsible for the promotion, development and branding of Irish Higher Education Institutions overseas (www.educationinireland.com).
AGPI
AGPI regulate, monitor and assess the placement and guardianship of international students, under the age of 18, in Irish secondary schools. Facilitated and documented by the Irish children’s charity Barnardos, the AGPI’s Quality Assurance Framework (QAF), is designed to benefit all Guardianship Providers in Ireland.
EEI
EEI is an association of 55 recognised English Language Schools in Ireland. Its former name was MEI (Marketing English in Ireland). Quality is central to EEI's mission. All EEI schools are recognised by the Irish Department of Education through an inspection scheme administered by ACELS (www.mei.ie).
ACELS
Our courses in Kilkenny are recognised by the Irish Department of Education and Skills as a school for the teaching of English as a foreign language. The Advisory Council for English Language Schools (ACELS) administers the scheme which leads to School Accreditation and Recognition by the Department of Education & Skills - ACELS (www.acels.ie).
