Five Steps to Your 'Irish Experience'

From your first non-binding enquiry to your arrival and orientation in Ireland, the application process is divided into five clear steps.

Initial Enquiry

Complete our short “Irish Experience – First Information” form and send us your most recent school report.
This initial enquiry is completely non-binding.
Once we receive your information, we will review your suitability for the programme and contact you to discuss the next steps.

Personal Consultation

We arrange a friendly online meeting with you and your parents or legal guardians.
This gives us an opportunity to get to know the student and answer any questions about school life, host-family accommodation and everyday life in Ireland.
Following a successful consultation, we will confirm whether the student is suitable for the programme.

School Selection and Offer

Based on the information provided, we will identify a suitable Irish high school and check availability.
You will then receive a non-binding programme offer.
We aim to match each student with the most appropriate school. However, placements, subjects and school-year choices remain subject to availability and final approval by the school.

Complete Application and Confirmation

Once you and your parents decide to proceed, you will be asked to submit the complete application documents.
We will submit the application to the selected school and coordinate the admission process.
Once the school has formally accepted your enrollment, we will issue the official booking confirmation and invoice.

Preparing for Ireland

Before travelling, students and parents receive all necessary information for a safe and well-prepared arrival to Ireland.
Students should download the mobile app before arrival, as it is our main source of personalised programme information and our preferred communication channel during the stay.
Upon arrival to Dublin Airport, the student is welcomed by a school representative in the arrivals hall, transferred to Kilkenny and introduced to the host family.
