Hosting international students in Kilkenny
Would you enjoy welcoming an international student into your home and sharing everyday Irish life with them?
At mackdonald language academy, we work with carefully selected host families in and around Kilkenny who provide students with a safe, friendly and welcoming home while they study in Ireland.
For many students, their host family becomes one of the most memorable parts of their Irish experience.

Our students come to Kilkenny from many different countries and backgrounds. Some stay for a few weeks, while others spend a term or an entire academic year in Ireland. Most students are 13–17 years old, and for some it is their first time away from home.
